From The Heart Home Care is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers/PCAs in Orangeburg, SC. We currently have multiple clients needing to be staffed, including both a special needs child and an elderly client.

We are looking for caregivers with different backgrounds and experience levels, so you do not have to be a fit for both clients. During the interview process, we will discuss your experience, availability, and comfort level to determine which assignment may be the best fit.

Current Opportunities

Special Needs Childcare

• One-on-one care and supervision
• Active engagement and age/ability-appropriate activities
• Assistance with established routines
• Support with communication and social interaction
• Redirection and behavioral support as needed
• Assistance with personal care/ADLs as appropriate
• Encourage independence in a safe and structured environment
• Experience working with children with special needs or developmental disabilities strongly preferred

Elderly Client Care

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Companionship and one-on-one support
• Mobility and safety assistance as needed
• Assistance with established daily routines
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate support

What We're Looking For

• Professional caregiving/PCA experience preferred
• Special needs/developmental disability experience is a plus for our childcare assignments
• Experience providing hands-on care to elderly clients is a plus
• Dependability and consistent attendance are REQUIRED
• Caring, compassionate, patient, and professional
• Comfortable providing personal care as required by the individual assignment
• Strong communication skills
• Must have your own reliable personal vehicle
• Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other rideshare services do not qualify
• Must be able to reliably commute to Orangeburg, SC
• MUST BE A CURRENT SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
• Ability to pass required background screening
