URGENT: Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Caregiver Needed – Orangeburg, SC
Consistent 7-Day Schedule Spanish Fluency Required Immediate Start
From The Heart Home Care is seeking one or two dependable, compassionate, bilingual Spanish-speaking caregivers for a client in Orangeburg, SC.
We are open to hiring one caregiver for the full weekly schedule or two caregivers to split the days/hours, depending on availability.
For this assignment, caregivers must be able to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English. We are also looking for someone familiar and comfortable with Hispanic culture and family dynamics to provide respectful, culturally responsive care.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 3 hours per day
Friday – Sunday: 4 hours per day
Total: 24 Hours Per Week
One caregiver may work the full schedule, or the schedule can be divided between two caregivers.
Specific start and end times will be discussed during the interview.
Client Needs & Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one in-home support
- Communicate effectively with the client in Spanish
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as needed
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders as directed
- Companionship and supervision
- Assist with errands and daily routines as needed
- Communicate appropriately with the client, family, and care team
- Provide respectful and culturally responsive care
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual in Spanish and English REQUIRED
- Must be able to comfortably communicate with the client in Spanish
- Familiarity with Hispanic culture and family dynamics strongly preferred
- Previous professional caregiving experience preferred
- Dependable, compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Able to maintain a consistent 7-day schedule
- Strong communication skills
- Must have your own reliable personal vehicle
- Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other ride-share services do not qualify
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Ability to pass a background check
