About Us
From The Ground Up Cafe is located within a 55 community and is open to the public. We serve chef-crafted meals and handcrafted espresso drinks in a warm, community-focused environment. We also host monthly events and offer catering opportunities.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, friendly Full-Time Server who thrives in a hospitality-driven setting. This position includes table service, espresso drink preparation, wine and beer service, and support for events and catering.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent, attentive table service
- Prepare espresso drinks and specialty beverages
- Learn and confidently present our chef-crafted menu
- Support monthly events and special programming
- Assist with catering orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team
Qualifications
- Serving and/or barista experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation
