Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. This role involves delivering high-quality food and beverage service, maintaining excellent customer relations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Experience in fine dining, food handling, and restaurant operations is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover.
- Provide attentive guest service, addressing needs promptly and professionally to ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed.
- Manage guest relations by creating a welcoming environment in fine dining settings.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Clover is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales performance.
