Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role in Rock Hill, Fort Mill and Lancaster, SC. The RBT will provide direct one-on-one behavioral intervention services to clients with autism and related developmental challenges. Daily responsibilities include implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), recording data on client progress, assisting in developing strategies to promote desired behaviors, and maintaining regular communication with the team and families. The RBT will create a positive, structured environment to support the client’s growth and learning goals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Experience in Behavioral Intervention and an understanding of effective techniques for promoting positive behaviors
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members, families, and supervisors
- Educational background in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of client progress
- Passionate about working with individuals with autism and committed to providing compassionate care
- RBT certification or willingness to obtain it within a specified timeline
