Frog&Toad is a play and nature based Early Education Program. We ourselves on always providing engaging and appropriate curriculum, with a focus toward our natural environment. We work closely with the Vermont Early Learning Standards, Teaching Strategies Gold, ASQ's, and have Creative Curriculum available to guide teachers in curriculum development as needed.
About the Role
Frog&Toad is seeking a Lead Early Childhood Educator to teach children 3 to 5 years of age. The position is Monday through Friday, and our program operates for the full year.
Responsibilities
- Upholding state and school policies
- Maintaining classroom cleanliness and organization
- Creating and executing age appropriate approved curriculum
- Communicating positively and professionally with families and co-workers
- Providing loving care to the children
- Completing child observations
- Creating child developmental profiles and assessments
Qualifications/Requirements
- All candidates must meet the minimum criteria set by the Child Development Division of 12 college credits in subjects relating to Early Childhood Education.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Early Education classrooms
Pay range and compensation package
- $22.00 to $31.00 per hour dependent upon qualification. The lower end of the pay scale would be for those candidates who meet the minimum requirements. The higher end of the pay scale would be for those candidates with a valid Vermont Teacher's License in ECE and/or ECSE.
