TOOL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

FROETEK, TN is an IATF-certified plastic injection molding facility serving the automotive and consumer industries. We are currently seeking a Tool Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Tool Maintenance Technician will be responsible for Level 1 and Level 2 preventive maintenance (PM) and general maintenance on approximately 200 plastic injection molds, ensuring tooling meets IATF standards for quality and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Level 1 and Level 2 PMs on plastic injection molds
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot injection molds as needed
- Manage and complete PM documentation and paperwork per IATF requirements
- Ensure tooling readiness, cleanliness, and proper storage
- Follow established preventive maintenance schedules
- Work closely with production and quality teams to support uptime and quality goals
Qualifications
- Experience in plastic injection mold maintenance preferred
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices
- Highly organized and highly motivated self-starter
- Attention to detail, especially with documentation and standards compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple molds and priorities
