Job Summary:
A Hearing Instrument Technician works under the direction of an Audiologist performing clinical and administrative tasks related to hearing aids. This individual will also clean equipment and maintain supplies for the lab. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 1 year of experience with hearing aids or audiology services is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) certification preferred or CAOHC eligible. Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) license preferred.
