Shift Details: 1300-2130 Monday to Friday
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Anesthesia leadership, the Anesthesia Associate assists with operating/procedural room turnover is accountable for the stocking and distribution of all anesthesia supplies. This position is also responsible for the cleaning and processing of anesthesia carts and equipment and for any other related duties.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 1 year of hospital or health care experience is required. In lieu of hospital experience, enrollment in a health care higher education program is required. Experience within a peri-op environment is preferred.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LICENSURE:
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 30 days of hire/transfer into role.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Able to work in a team environment. Critical thinking skills required Flexibility to adapt to urgent situations and change. Ability to cope with pressure. Ability to organize, prioritize tasks.
