Inker for Coloring Books (Remote)

Hi,

We are searching for an inker in the United States to work from home by digitally inking detailed sketches for our bestselling brand of adult coloring books.

What You Will Do

Your job will be to convert detailed sketches into publish-ready coloring pages. You will trace existing artwork to create clean lines, add shading, and add texture. With our color-by-number books, you will pick colors, create flat colored versions, and add numbers.

If you prefer, we can include your name on books and help build your brand with our audience. Many of our books have been bestsellers on Amazon and our Facebook Group has over 15,000 members.

Our Ideal Candidate

We would prefer to hire someone who loves to collaborate (ie. determine the best way to ink various types of images), is capable of inking in a variety of styles, is available to work during the workday (not evenings and weekends), would also enjoy being involved in the entire creative process of making a coloring book, such as by providing feedback on sketches before the inking begins.

Schedule and Hours

• 20 hours per week. We can discuss choosing a fixed number of hours per week OR having the amount be variable based on needs of the project.
• Monday - Friday. We prefer to work with someone during business hours so it's easier to collaborate with the rest of the team.

Education

• Associates Degree or higher.

Experience

• Previous experience inking digitally.
• Online portfolio with inking examples.
• Primarily work as illustrator, not graphic designer.
