Food Service Worker

Job Summary

Join our dynamic food service team as a Food Service Worker, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This energetic position involves preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and providing outstanding customer service.

Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Serve food to guests with professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency, including in-person customer service.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, meat slicer, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing cash transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, dining areas, and adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination.
• Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, weighing ingredients, and managing food storage to meet health regulations.
• Follow all food safety management protocols and dietary guidelines to ensure safe handling of all food items.
• Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues to meet service goals and uphold high standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service is advantageous, but will train.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices enhances your ability to deliver quality service.
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced settings is essential.
• Experience with POS systems for processing transactions accurately is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
