What you’ll do

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Cook and assemble meals according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Support banquet and catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently.
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with serving food and addressing guest inquiries.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food service operations.

Basic qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
