Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to excellence in food preparation and presentation. This position is crucial in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring safe food handling practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal preparation and serving.
• Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation, ensuring precision and safety.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience.
• Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Experience in catering services is a plus.
• Excellent knife skills are essential for efficient meal preparation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
