Roofing OnTop & Construction (ROT) is seeking motivated Field Relationship Managers to support our continued growth across North Texas. This is an Independent Contractor role for professionals who are confident in the field, comfortable communicating with homeowners, and experienced in identifying roofing and exterior construction needs.As a Field Relationship Manager, you are the face of ROT—serving as the primary point of contact between clients, insurance adjusters, and trade partners. This role focuses on inspection, relationship management, and project oversight, not physical labor. - Perform exterior property inspections with emphasis on roofing and storm-related damage
- Identify repair or replacement needs across roofing and exterior services
- Educate homeowners on findings, next steps, and the ROT process
- Act as project manager between the client, insurance, and trade partners
- Oversee projects from agreement through completion
- Maintain clear, professional communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Generate business through company-provided leads and self-sourced opportunities
- Network within the community, including attending chamber and local events
- Represent the ROT brand professionally in the field and public settings
- Follow company processes, documentation standards, and communication expectations
- 1099 Independent Contractor role, commission-based earnings only on every completed project
- Qualified leads provided by ROT, with the expectation of proactive self-generated opportunities
- Unlimited earning potential — your income reflects your performance, effort, and consistency
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Prior experience in roofing and/or exterior construction required; one-year experience preferred.
- Experience should include identifying storm damage, exterior issues, and project scope (not performing labor)
- Comfortable working outdoors and in residential and commercial environments
- Able to safely navigate roofs and elevated areas (no fear of heights)
- Ability to accurately distinguish shingle and material colors when assessing damage and repairs
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage an independent workload
- Required to wear ROT-provided apparel while representing the company or on job sites
- Set and manage their own schedules
- Provide their own transportation and inspection-related tools
- Are responsible for all federal and Texas tax obligations
