Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings
• Prepare and serve food items with proper food handling and sanitation practices, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including cleaning scoops, utensils, counters, and seating areas
• Manage cash register transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service in a quick service environment
• Follow food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests

Experience

• Previous experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or grocery store settings
• Excellent customer service skills to engage guests positively
