Water and Wastewater Operator
Duties include routine operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant and pump stations, water line repairs and meter readings. Position requires manual labor in all weather conditions. Applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to obtain entry-level certifications in water distribution and biological wastewater treatment within one year. Must be a self-starter and able to work with little or no direct supervision. Salary negotiable depending on qualifications. Benefits package includes a company vehicle, medical/dental/life insurance, SC state retirement plan, flexible spending accounts and employer-paid license training. Water Distribution and or collections preferred.
