Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to our guests. Busser plays a vital role in making sure all tables are bussed and cleaned in a timely manner. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, supporting the service staff and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food handling procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food orders promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers with clearing and bussing tables to maintain a clean dining area.
- Support the kitchen staff by communicating guest needs and special requests effectively.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food handling and delivery.
- Replenish supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness on all tables, including the dining room, wait stations, and back-of-house spaces.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless guest service experiences.
- Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or banquet service is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
