Job Description
Friesen’s Inc. in Detroit Lakes is seeking a reliable Metal Finisher to operate and monitor our ARKU deburring machine and ensure stainless steel parts meet our high-quality standards. This role involves loading parts, inspecting imperfections, and maintaining machine performance in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must pay strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods. Key Responsibilities

· Operate and monitor the ARKU deburring machine to remove burrs and sharp edges from stainless steel parts.

· Learn and follow proper machine settings and parameters based on material and part type to ensure optimal performance and quality output.

· Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, or imperfections and ensure quality standards are met.

· Load and carry parts into the deburring machine for processing.

· Maintain and adjust the deburring machine as necessary for consistent performance.

· Work closely with team members to ensure production timelines are met.

· Sort parts and place in proper location for easy access and further processing.

· Follow Friesen’s safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Skills & Qualifications

· Ability to follow directions and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

· Ability to lift, carry, and move objects as required.

· Comfortable standing and working for extended periods while operating machinery.

· Strong organizational skills to efficiently sort, store, and track parts.

· Willingness to cross-train and support other departments as needed.

· High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
