As a Sales Consultant, you will help customers find the right vehicle for their needs, provide product knowledge, and ensure an exceptional buying experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and build positive relationships through friendly, professional service.
- Listen to customer needs, ask questions, and help match them with the right new or pre-owned vehicle.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations, test drives, and product presentations.
- Provide transparent pricing, financing options, and purchase details.
- Guide customers through the sales process, including paperwork and delivery of the vehicle.
- Follow up with leads, walk-ins, and previous customers to generate repeat and referral business.
- Maintain strong knowledge of current inventory, vehicle features, and manufacturer incentives.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and dealership performance standards.
- Collaborate with the sales team, finance department, and management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; additional sales or business training is a plus.
- Prior automotive sales experience preferred, but not required — we provide training for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, customer-first attitude.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and follow up effectively.
- Basic computer and CRM skills; ability to learn dealership software.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
