Independent Living PRN Caregiver

Friendship Village is recruiting for Compassionate and Energetic Caregiver to join our Independent Living Team! We have a PRN 1st shift 7a-3p opportunity available that has Flexible Scheduling, Benefits, and A Fun Work Environment. Starting pay is $16.00 . This role provides full-scope, hands on functions within the community.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Caregiver:

• Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly
• Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Prior geriatric care experience is preferred
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to document care given.
