Who You Are:
We seek a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Certified Medication Technician for our Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents. Position Summary:
The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) assists with administering medications under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse per physician orders. Performs delegated duties, including activities of daily living and basic nursing care procedures for our residents. Performs all assignments with honesty, integrity, and care that promote the mission, vision, and values of Friendship Village.
Job Requirements:
- High School or GED Degree required.
- Active CMT License.
- Registration with the State registry is required.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge of medication administration, duration, and side effects.
- Exhibits well-developed communication skills. Can professionally receive and follow oral instructions in English
