Overview
We are seeking a creative, friendly, dependable and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team! Friendship Montessori is a two-room schoolhouse in rural Maryland, serving children ages 2-6. The applicant should feel comfortable being in a busy child-centered environment.
Duties
- Set up our new iMac desktop computer, look for programs to support our school's needs, and discuss pros and cons of each with Director
- Handle billing for tuition and Afterschool. Set up payment options such as Zelle or Venmo. Make deposits and keep records of transactions using QuickBooks
- Work with Director to update established website and social media
- Maintain students' files, notify parents of any missing documentation
- Respond to email and telephone requests for school information packets
- Assist with the technical aspects of State required documentation
- Be willing to share your ideas to improve and enrich the school program
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
