What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker Scranton position at FRIENDSHIP HOUSE?
Friendship House is opening a new Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program in the Agencies new Whole Person Care Center at 415 Biden Street, Scranton, PA. The program is designed to provide psychiatric rehabilitation services to individuals 18 years of age and older in the life domains of living wellness, learning, working and socializing.
Qualifications:- Bachelor Degree with academic concentration in an area relevant to the position;
- or, a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Two (2) years’ work experience in human services, including one year of mental health direct care experience.
- One (1) year experience delivering community-based psychiatric rehabilitation services required.
- Experience working with people with psychiatric disability, co-occurring disorders preferred.
- Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification required;
- Or Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification within first (1st) year of employment required.
Salary : $18 - $21
