We're looking for a SHOP FOREMAN to join our team at Friendship Volvo!

Master Tech preferred but equivalent experience or certifications will be strongly considered.

What You'll Do:

• Safely drive vehicles to test components and systems
• Accurately provide an estimate of the time needed for service
• Properly use tools and service equipment to diagnose and maintain vehicles
• Lead and support technicians through complex diagnostics, repairs and maintenance
• Efficiently perform work on specified Repair Orders
• Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications and customer expectations
• Coordinate with advisors to manage shop workflow
• Monitor shop productivity, efficiency, and turnaround time
• Ensure shop compliance with dealership procedures, safety, and standards of quality
• Train or mentor technicians for improved performance and advancement
  
  
  

Qualification Checklist:

• 5 years of technician experience with leadership experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving abilities
• Able to learn new technology, repair, and service specifications
• Independent starter with team management acumen
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
