The Social Programs Facilitator leads dynamic, inclusive social experiences that foster friendship, confidence, and independence. This role is ideal for someone who is both a strong leader and a hands-on mentor—someone who thrives in building programs while also building people.
What You’ll Do
- Design and lead engaging social programs for children and adults with special needs
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to ensure meaningful engagement
- Support mentorship, Business Ambassador, and vocational initiatives
- Build partnerships with local businesses to expand job training and mentorship opportunities
- Serve as a job coach, working directly with students to develop workplace skills and confidence
- Promote programs through community outreach and social media
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with special needs
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for inclusion and community engagement
The schedule includes three Sundays and two Thursday evenings per month.
