We're looking for a PARTS and SERVICE FLOATER to join our team at FRIENDSHIP in BECKLEY.
Our ideal candidates are reliable, independent, and energetic team players who genuinely enjoy working with people!
What You'll Do:
- Travel between dealerships to support the Parts and Service
- Assist customers in the dealership and on the phone
- Accurately price parts and accessories
- Recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs
- Prepare clear, detailed estimates for recommended services
- Monitor the service and parts ordering processes and keep customers informed with timely updates
- Review completed services or purchases with customers
- Ensure repair orders or parts invoices are accurate and complete
- Maintain knowledge of manufacturer warranty, policy, and return procedures
- Analyze processes to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement across departments
- Support the Service and Parts Managers with additional tasks as needed
Qualification Checklist:
- Automotive Parts and Service experience preferred but not required
- Experience with CDK and familiarity with web based platforms preferred but not required
- Willingness to travel between stores in our Beckley and Princeton markets
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both written and in person
- Comfortable working within established systems and processes
- Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced environment
- A professional, polished appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation for this role will range from $40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on knowledge and experience
