What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Friendship Access to Clinical Therapeutic Services?
LOCATION: Little Rock, AR
F.A.C.T.S. is a private therapy clinic operating in conjunction with Friendship Lab Schools. We offer school based therapy and work as a team to fulfill all of our students needs. We provide Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy to all students who qualify. Salary option available.
We are looking for a team player who has a passion for helping children succeed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Arkansas license in Speech and Language Pathology
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders according to state and federal special education guidelines.
- Participate in evaluation conferences.
- Implement an individual education plan and goals for assigned students.
- Cooperate with teachers and parents by providing information, discussing appropriate goals and offering any other assistance.
- Monitor and conduct ongoing evaluation of student progress.
- Participate in parent conferences to review students' progress.
- Conduct a conference when additional changes or discontinuance of a special program is indicated.
- Cooperate in training programs.
- Maintain special education due process/work files.
- Document progress of students and maintain information needed for Medicaid billing.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
