Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and compassionate Caregivers to support children within a structured care program. Staff work under the supervision of the Program Manager to assist with daily routines, health needs, and transportation to services. The caregiver helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while ensuring children’s routines and care plans are followed consistently. This role focuses on practical daily support rather than clinical therapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision and support.
- Assist with life skills and community outings.
- Transport residents to appointments and activities.
- Follow ISP/PBSP guidelines.
- Complete daily documentation and ensure residents' health and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to administer medications after training
- Ability to perform light cleaning and food preparation
- Reliable attendance and ability to follow supervision and direction
- Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Experience working with children with I/DD.
Supervision & Work Environment
- Reports directly to the Program Manager
- Works as part of a team within a licensed child service program
- Structured routines, scheduled shifts, and documentation requirements required
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
