Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full-Time, 3rd Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 3rd shift team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered care in accordance with each resident’s care plan, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care and services based on resident care plans
- Accurately document care provided, observations, and resident status in charts and flow sheets
- Report any changes in resident condition promptly to the Charge Nurse or Nurse Supervisor
- Receive and participate in shift report to ensure continuity of care
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols, including proper handling of blood/body fluids
Resident Care Duties:
- Assist with personal hygiene, including oral care, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support residents with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation
- Provide assistance with hair and nail care (excluding diabetic nail care)
- Make and maintain clean, wrinkle-free beds and change linens as needed
- Provide comfort measures
Daily Support & Engagement:
- Assist residents in preparing for appointments, therapies, and diagnostic tests
- Support participation in activities, social programs, and visits
- Welcome new residents and help them feel comfortable and oriented to their environment
