Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurses for part-time evening (3p - 11p) or overnight shifts (11p - 7a) to join our compassionate team at Linden Hall, the skilled nursing facility of Friends Home in Kennett, located in Kennett Square, PA. Possibility of full-time hours in the future. In this pivotal role, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents, aligning with our mission to enhance their quality of life. Linden Hall is a 20-bed facility offering unmatched care in a small, homelike environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident care.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with maintaining and managing resident records
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Proven experience in long-term care or nursing home settings.
- Strong critical care experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent assessment and clinical skills.
- Supervisory experience
- Compassionate approach to patient care and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles is a plus.
