The ideal candidate must be hardworking, reliable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of handling the daily demands of a busy animal rescue facility.

This position requires someone who is comfortable working directly with animals, providing daily care, assisting with medical needs, and handling administrative responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide daily care for dogs, cats, and other animals within the facility.
  • Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of kennels, cages, animal rooms, and common areas.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous professional experience working with dogs and cats is required.
  • Experience administering animal medications and vaccines is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of animal behavior, safe handling, and basic medical care.
  • Experience with daily animal facility cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Must have reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to complete assigned responsibilities without constant supervision.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable answering phones, using computers, and maintaining records.
  • Ability to multitask and remain productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to the responsibilities of the position.
  • Ability to safely handle animals of different sizes, temperaments, and medical needs.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who understands that working in animal rescue involves much more than spending time with animals.

This position requires physical work, daily cleaning, medical responsibilities, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

We need someone who takes initiative, follows through on responsibilities, works well with others, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for the animals in our care.
