Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to conduct in-home visits for our clients. The visiting nurse will perform routine health assessments, medication setups, and wellness checks, and provide education and communication with the client’s care team as needed. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys autonomy, flexible scheduling, and building long-term relationships with clients.
Duties
· Complete in-home client visits as assigned (frequency based on care plan).
· Perform medication setups, blood pressure checks, blood glucose monitoring, and other health observations.
· Conduct general health evaluations, including skin checks, vital signs, and symptom assessments.
· Document all visits accurately and submit timely notes in compliance with Friends For Life and DHSS/MMAC standards.
· Report any changes in client condition to the office and appropriate medical personnel.
· Educate clients and caregivers on medication adherence, chronic condition management, and healthy living habits.
· Maintain professional and ethical conduct at all times while representing Friends For Life in the community.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
· Current Missouri RN or LPN license (required).
· Current CPR certification (required).
· At least 1 year of home care, community health, or clinical nursing experience preferred.
· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
· Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
· Compassionate, self-motivated, and dependable with strong time-management skills.
Schedule & Compensation
· Flexible schedule – you choose your availability for client visits.
· Compensation based on per-visit rate or hourly (depending on assignment type).
· Opportunities for ongoing cases and long-term relationships with clients.

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
