What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Driver / Warehouse position at Friendly Wholesale, Inc?
We are looking for a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for driving a truck, transporting packages and supplies to customers, following all traffic laws and keeping the vehicle within the speed limit. The coverage area is within a 50-mile radius of Wooster, Ohio. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, enjoy a challenge and be goal-oriented; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver packages.
- Drive a vehicle.
- Memorize addresses.
- Customer service
- Work with others to load your truck prior to departure
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment
- Operate forklifts
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from safety hazards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-time
