- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit card payments, and tips with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and bussing tables promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly for optimal guest relations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with hospitality
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling sales transactions efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential
