Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to kitchen staff
• Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring sanitation standards are met
• Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating and manage guest flow
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle diverse guest needs
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising quality
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food preparation, kitchen operations, or culinary work is advantageous
• Strong communication skills coupled with hospitality expertise to ensure seamless service delivery

Pay: $6.75 - $15.00 per hour
