Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team in menu planning, ensuring seasonal offerings and dietary needs are considered.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
• Support the dietary department by preparing meals that cater to specific dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
• Ensure timely service during meal periods while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Familiarity with menu planning and dietary restrictions is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
