Pharmacy Cashier/Clerk

We are looking for a Pharmacy Clerk for our Jersey City locations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, efficient, and team players dedicated to customer care and pharmacy operations.

Pharmacy Clerk Roles and Responsibilities:

• Front-End Customer Support: Greet patients and customers, assist with general inquiries, direct prescription-related questions to the pharmacist or pharmacy technician, and help maintain a welcoming and professional environment.
• Cash Register and Transactions: Process payments, handle transactions accurately, issue receipts, and assist customers at pickup and over-the-counter purchase areas.
• Phone and Communication Support: Answer incoming calls, take and relay messages, assist with basic non-clinical inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate team member when needed.
• Inventory and Stocking Assistance: Restock front-store and pharmacy supplies, monitor low-stock items, organize shelves, and help maintain orderly storage areas.
• Administrative Support: Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, labeling support, and other clerical tasks to help maintain accurate pharmacy records and smooth daily operations.
• Maintaining the Pharmacy Area: Keep the cashier area, waiting area, shelves, and workspaces clean, organized, and presentable to support a safe and efficient workflow.
• Compliance and Confidentiality: Follow all pharmacy policies and procedures, protect patient privacy, and ensure that all non-clinical duties are performed in accordance with applicable regulations.

Requirements:

• Has clerk or cashier experience
• Can work 2 Saturdays each month

We Offer:

• $16-$18 per hour, based on experience.
• Full-time and part-time positions
