Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Perform general dentistry procedures such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges and prosthodontics with precision and care.
- Carry out complex treatments including dental extractions and oral surgery while maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret medical imaging results to guide treatment decisions effectively.
- Maintain detailed and compliant medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Ensure infection control protocols are rigorously followed to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and hygiene.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry and patient care.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing processes.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology to accurately assess patient needs.
- Hands-on experience performing dental fabrication procedures including crowns or prosthodontics is preferred.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus for treating pediatric patients effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with patients about treatment options and oral health education.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
