What are the responsibilities and job description for the Friendly Mart Assistant position at Friendly Center?
Who We Are
Friendly Center has been helping less-fortunate children and their families move toward self-sufficiency for over 100 years. This is done through over 20 programs and services. We provide life-changing assistance to more than 1,000 families each year.
What We Do
We help the entire family with programs in education, food support, and mental health services. Our goal is to meet the needs a family may face, get them back on their feet, and prevent the cycle from continuing to the next generation.
Join us. Together, we can end the cycle of generational poverty for families and future generations in Orange County.
,
Join Friendly Center’s team and play an important role in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming market for our community. Volunteers work side-by-side with staff to help keep the space running smoothly by maintaining clean floors, disposing of trash, and assisting with lifting and moving boxes of produce and non-perishable food items.
This is an active, hands-on volunteer opportunity ideal for individuals who enjoy teamwork and making a visible difference. Volunteers are asked to commit to working full shifts on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays for a minimum of two consecutive months, helping us provide reliable and consistent support to the families we serve.
