Brand Champion

Position Overview
The Brand Champion is the face of Friendly Brand at the retail level — driving sell-through, building relationships, and creating excitement around our products. This role is 100% in the field and designed for someone who loves people, cannabis, and competition.
You’ll be responsible for hosting in-store demos, engaging every customer who walks through the dispensary door, educating staff, and helping increase sell-through through authentic connections and high-energy representation. You’ll track key demo metrics, report performance, and capture content in the field while ensuring every store experience feels unmistakably Friendly.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Demos
- Conduct in-store demos across your assigned territory (NorCal or SoCal).
- Engage with every customer possible to drive sales and conversions.
- Hit minimum KPIs for demos, interactions, and sales performance.
- Report demo results promptly with required metrics (traffic, conversions, staff engagement, etc.).
- Consistently hit or exceed individual and team sales goals.
Retail Relationships
- Build strong, lasting relationships with dispensary staff and management.
- Provide staff education, sampling, and product knowledge support.
- Ensure optimal merchandising and product presentation in-store.
- Act as the main point of contact for retail-level feedback and opportunities.
Content & Brand Presence
- Capture photos and short videos during demos for marketing and training use.
- Represent the brand voice and tone authentically at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and friendly, approachable demeanor.
Reporting & Accountability
- Submit demo reports and KPI tracking after each visit.
- Communicate regularly with the Sales Director and internal team.
- Track expenses and mileage accurately for reimbursement.
- Observe and share insights on store traffic, competitor activity, and consumer feedback.

Requirements
- Must be 21 with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Prior cannabis sales, demo, or brand ambassador experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of cannabis products and retail culture.
- Excellent verbal communication and people skills.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and travel throughout territory.
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Compensation
- Base Pay: Per in-store demonstration (rate varies by store type and duration).
- Mileage Reimbursement: For all approved travel.
- Performance Bonuses: For hitting or exceeding KPIs and sales goals.
- Incentives: Additional rewards for exceptional performance, content capture, or positive store feedback.
