Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily operations within our cannabis manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for receiving and preparing cannabis biomass for extraction, maintaining accurate production records, meeting daily production targets, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant facility.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, learns quickly, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is looking for long-term growth opportunities within cannabis manufacturing. No prior cannabis experience is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Intake & Inventory Support
- Receive incoming cannabis biomass and materials.
- Verify quantities, labels, and documentation during intake.
- Accurately weigh, stage, organize, and store materials.
- Assist with inventory movement and material transfers.
- Maintain organized storage areas and inventory locations.
Material Preparation
- Prepare cannabis biomass for extraction according to company SOPs.
- Grind, sort, package, and stage material for production.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled and tracked.
- Support production teams with material needs throughout the day.
- Maintain product quality and consistency standards.
Production Tracking & Documentation
- Accurately complete all required production logs and documentation.
- Record material weights, production quantities, transfers, and waste.
- Maintain compliance records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all logs are completed accurately and on time.
Production Performance
- Meet or exceed established daily production goals.
- Maintain productivity while ensuring quality and compliance standards.
- Identify workflow improvements that increase efficiency and throughput.
- Communicate production issues or bottlenecks to management promptly.
Facility & Equipment Cleaning
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment.
- Clean production equipment, tools, containers, and workstations.
- Perform routine facility cleaning and sanitation tasks.
- Assist with waste removal and facility organization.
- Support daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning schedules.
General Operations Support
- Assist production and extraction teams as needed.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
