Job Overview

Friendly Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated, driven individual to join our dynamic team in the Automotive Service Manager role. This candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, while managing a team of technicians. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive sales and service writing, with a passion for delivering quality service to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the service department's daily operations, including scheduling and workflow management.
  • Supervise and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on automotive repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all service work is performed efficiently and meets quality standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to promote service offerings and enhance customer relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the service area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in automotive repair.
  • Knowledge of warranty procedures is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
