Job Summary
The HR Clerical Support works closely as a member of the HR team to provide day-to-day support by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, orientation, employment processing, off boarding, open enrollment, training and development, records maintenance and management, safety and health, and other related tasks to ensure alignment to the Friend Health - HRDI mission and services. This position requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, attention to detail, and dedication to fostering a positive work environment. The HR Clerk will work a max of 25 hours weekly, Monday through Friday with a possible Saturday to support with HR events.

Job Duties
- Successfully supports HR-related projects as assigned by meeting project milestones and deadlines.
- Adheres to all data protection regulations and company policies to safeguard confidential information.
- Uses discretion when handling sensitive employee matters, ensuring that discussions are confidential.
- Ownership of the PolicyPlus document management system.
- Provide an elevated and professional level of customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bilingual proficiency preferred - English and Spanish.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to create PowerPoint presentations, flyers, etc. as needed.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365.
- Respond to calls and requests no later than 24-hours.
- Ensure 100% compliance within the document management system and submit reports monthly.
- Introduce three new initiatives by year end 2025.
- Identify and participate in one professional development opportunity by year end 2025.
- The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.
- Possess the ability to lift 15-pounds.
