THE POSITION
We are seeking an entry-level IT Administrator to provide day-to-day technical support to employees both virtually and onsite. This role will focus on resolving helpdesk tickets, assisting with user onboarding/offboarding, and supporting hardware, software, and IT systems. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets covering hardware, software, network connectivity, and account access issues
- Provide day-to-day end-user support for Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Support and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) sessions for remote and hybrid users
- Assist with user and device management in Intune and Entra ID, including onboarding/offboarding and access provisioning
- Perform basic troubleshooting on the firm's Cisco Meraki network (Wi-Fi, switches, connectivity issues) and escalate as needed
- Support RingCentral phone system issues, including handset and softphone setup
- Process tickets and document solutions with the Atlassian Suite. (Jira Service Management, Confluence, etc)
- Assist with basic Exchange (on-prem and Exchange Online) mailbox and account tasks
- Escalate complex issues to senior helpdesk staff or the IT Manager with clear documentation
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, or IT support role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Familiarity with Windows desktop troubleshooting and basic networking concepts
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset when working with end users
- Ability to prioritize and track multiple open tickets
- Comfortable escalating issues and documenting clearly for teammates
- Comfortable supporting macOS as well as Windows (we run a small mixed environment)
PREFERRED
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and/or Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Experience with a ticketing system such as Jira Service Management
- Prior experience in a law firm or other professional services environment
- AZ-900 and AB-900 certifications
