The Position
Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join our rapidly growing team. We're looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of foreclosure experience including, but not limited to managing foreclosure from referral through conclusion, ordering title, obtaining payoffs, deed, assignment and letter preparation, meeting time sensitive deadlines, providing updates and timely responses to clients, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Draft documents such as motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- E-filing with various court systems.
- Document recording.
- Maintain client and case files.
- Correspond with and update clients.
- Maintain filing/document system.
- Organize and maintain the group's calendars, provide & adhere to legal deadlines.
- Organize and archive the documents related to completed and ongoing litigations.
- Prepare reports for attorneys.
- All other related duties as assigned to support departmental and firm needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-year related foreclosure experience
- Broad knowledge of real estate default services
- Experience in LPS, Caseaware, Tempo, etc. is a plus.
- Superior organizational skills, research, and writing skills
- Detail oriented
- Independent worker; Deadline driven
- Able to manage a heavy workload
- Confident and comfortable on the phone
- Works well under pressure
