Biological Wastewater Operator II

We are partnering with a mission-driven environmental services company to hire a Level II Biological Wastewater Operator in Columbus, NC. This is a direct hire opportunity offering flexibility in scheduling (20–40 hours/week - your choice!) and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in operating wastewater treatment systems efficiently, maintaining compliance, and continuously improving plant performance.
Required Qualifications
NC Grade II Biological Wastewater Operator License (or higher is acceptable)
At least 1 year of wastewater operations experience
Strong understanding of biological treatment processes
Ability to troubleshoot systems independently
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and reporting systems)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with scheduling or field service software
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and inspection
Work Schedule & Pay
Flexible hours: 20–40 hours per week – you chose if you want to work PT or FT
Pay: $26/hour
