Key Responsibilities
- Process, review, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of accounts payable transactions
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
- Maintain well-organized and accurate financial records
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Assist with account reconciliations and basic accounting functions
- Prepare and maintain reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Support month-end closing activities as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
- Minimum Associate degree in Accounting or currently working toward completion
- 0–5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Strong understanding of basic math and accounting principles
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, customers, and management
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated
