Position Summary
The PRN Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients in their homes, developing individualized care plans, and helping patients improve daily living skills and functional independence. Care is delivered in accordance with physician orders and the state Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home setting
- Educate patients and families on safety, adaptive techniques, and equipment use
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulations
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members—ensuring everyone knows the next step

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Missouri
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred (home health experience a plus)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
