Test Lab Technician
Responsibilities
- Preparing and configuring test equipment and fixtures for a variety of component evaluations.
- Using mechanic knowledge and experience to install oil seals into testing rigs to create testing conditions according to customer requirements.
- Using ladder logic to program testing parameters.
- Conducting tests according to defined procedures and standards.
- Monitoring test progress and record detailed data and observations.
- Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to interpret results and support reporting.
- Maintaining lab equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Technical background, experience in mechanical testing or laboratory work, and/or previous experience in mechanical fields.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
- Familiarity with industrial or automotive components is a plus.
- High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree.
- High level of commitment and flexibility.
