Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments to customers, distribution centers, and third-party locations
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, labels, and export paperwork as required
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with approved carriers and freight forwarders
• Ensure shipments comply with company procedures, customer requirements, and domestic/international shipping regulations
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies
• Communicate shipment details and issues with customer service, warehouse, production, and planning teams
• Accurately enter and maintain shipping data in ERP/WMS systems
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education in logistics or supply chain preferred
• 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Working knowledge of shipping documentation and transportation methods (LTL, FTL, parcel, international)
• Proficiency with ERP or warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
